Lucknow UP IAS-PCS Officers Transfer: The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday made a major administrative reshuffle by transferring 17 IAS and 10 PCS officers on the last day of the year. New District Magistrates have been posted in 11 districts through IAS transfers.
The districts where new DMs have been deployed include Balrampur, Pratapgarh, Gonda, Mirjapur, Mathura, Chandauli, Kushinagar, Sonbhadra, Fatehpur, Hathras and Auraiya. Praveen Laxkar, who was in the discussion regarding the Hathras incident, has been removed from here and made DM of Mirzapur. The High Court had also raised questions about not taking action on Laxkar.
Krishna Karunesh, who was DM of Balrampur so far, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of Ghaziabad Development Authority while Kanchan Verma, who has held the post till date, has been posted as Managing Director of UP Medical Supplies Corporation.
On the other hand, in the transfer of 10 PCS officers, Shashibhushan Rai, who was the SDM in Sitapur, has been made the Municipal Magistrate of Lucknow. New Special Officer (OSD) and Nazul officers have also been deployed in Lucknow Development Authority.
