The Uttar Pradesh government has asked all the legislators to buy Apple’s iPad before the budget session starting on February 18. This time the UP government is presenting paper less budget. All the MLAs will get Rs 50,000 to buy an iPad. State Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the state government has asked the legislators to buy Apple iPad before the budget session. He said that the MLAs would be given Rs 50,000 to buy the iPad.
Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that it will take more time to buy and deliver the device and hence it was decided to allow the legislators to buy Apple iPad, which is best for them. The state assembly will have to buy 403 iPads for all MLAs and an additional 100 iPads for MLC.
For this, the state government will require more than 2.5 crore rupees for the purchase. Minister Suresh Khanna refused to answer questions about restoring the MLA fund before the 2022 assembly elections. The state government has proposed a special training session for MLAs from 11 February to 13 February, so that they can be taught iPads.

Congress MLC Deepak Singh said that when former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was bringing information technology, BJP used to protest, but now it is working for everyone.
