Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra 2023: The doors of Kedarnath Dham were opened on April 25 at exactly 6:20 am for devotees from India and abroad to visit with Vedic chants. Preparations are also in full swing to open the Badrinath portals.

Pilgrims from many states of the country including UP, Delhi-NCR, MP were also present. It may be known that the doors of Gangotri-Yamunotri Dham were opened for the pilgrims on 22 April. The doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened on 27th April. The process of opening the doors was done amidst the sound mantras of Acharya Vedpathis.

Earlier, Kedarnath Rawal informed all the pilgrims and devotees from the temple gate about the importance of Kedarnath Dham, tradition and importance of worshiping Kedarnath Dham for 6 months through an address. A large number of devotees visited Baba Kedar on the occasion of the opening of the doors.

The doors were in the sky on the occasion of opening. It is getting bitterly cold in Dham. About 10,000 pilgrims and local people were present on the occasion of the opening of the doors. It may be noted that for the last few days the weather in Kedarnath Dham is bad. Even in the midst of rain and snowfall, the administration has worked hard to make way on the footpath.

Passengers going to Kedarnath stopped without booking

Srinagar, Correspondent. In view of the possibility of snowfall in Kedarnath on behalf of the Defense Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE), the police administration stopped and informed the passengers at Srinagar, the main stop of the Chardham Yatra, as a precaution.

On Monday, the Srinagar Kotwali police informed a large number of Kedarnath pilgrims near Mahila Thana about the dire warning given by the DGRE in Kedarnath. An appeal is being made to stay here till the weather opens.

Passengers going to Kedarnath will stay in Rishikesh

New Tehri. After warning of bad weather for the next few days in Kedarnath Dham, Tehri police is also taking precautions regarding the safety of the passengers. The police have asked the passengers going to Kedarnath Dham to stay in Rishikesh for the time being. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open for the pilgrims on Tuesday. Passengers are being stopped at Munikireti.

10 thousand people reached Kedarnath Dham

About 10,000 people have reached Kedarnath to open the doors in Kedarnath Dham. Whereas on Tuesday also a large number of pilgrims and local people will reach Kedarnath. About 10,000 pilgrims were present at the time of opening of the portals of the Dham. On Monday, 5600 pilgrims and local people left for Kedarnath from Sonprayag. Although there is no arrangement for more people to stay in Kedarnath, but on the first day, more than 10,000 pilgrims and local people are expected to be present on the opening of the doors in Kedarnath.
