After the initial investigation is completed, the report will be sent to the Western Railway Headquarters. If everything goes well, the state can get a new Vande Bharat train in a few months. It is being said that earlier the Railway Board had planned to run the train between Surat and Rajkot. However, due to the construction of Multi Model Transport Hub (MMTH), platform-4 of Surat station has been temporarily closed. Due to this, the route of the proposed Vande Bharat was changed. Now there is a plan to run this train between Udhna and Rajkot.

Big initiative for the convenience of passengers

On the other hand, a big step has been taken in terms of the convenience of the passengers of Kota Division of West-Central Railway. Now passengers will be able to get first aid from the ticket checking team in the running train, but for this a fee of Rs 50 will have to be paid. In view of passenger convenience, under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Manish Tiwari, a positive initiative has been taken for the first aid of passengers in emergency situations in running trains. Till now, the facility of first aid for passengers was available only with the railway guard and station superintendent of the passenger train. On June 28, the division issued first aid kits to all the ticket checking staff (TTE) of passenger trains. In this first aid kit, all 13 types of medicines related to general treatment will be available with the ticket checking staff in the railway during duty.
