In this episode, Indian Railways is now going to launch Vande Bharat train for Goa. This Vande Bharat train will run between Mumbai to Goa. This train will be flagged off on 03 June.
Will travel in 7 hours
This train will be flagged off on June 03 from Madgaon in Mumbai. Now the distance from Mumbai to Goa can be covered in 7 hours. This train will have 8 coaches instead of 16. Currently CSMT Tejas Express (22120) runs from Goa to Mumbai. It departs from Goa Madgaon Station (MAO) at 15:15 and reaches Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Station (CSMT) at 23:55. This train covers the distance from Goa to Mumbai in 8 hours 40 minutes.
Please tell that Vande Bharat Express is a high speed train in India. This is the country’s first semi high speed train, which has a maximum speed of 160 km/h. This train is completely designed and manufactured in India, in which 80% of the products were made indigenous. These trains are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. These include GPS based information system, CCTV cameras, vacuum based bio toilet, automatic sliding door and four emergency push buttons in each coach.
Vande Bharat will be in all the states of India by the end of June
According to Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav, by the end of June, all the states of India will be linked to the service of Vande Bharat. With this, three types of Vande Bharat trains will run in the country by next year. Between February and March next year, three types of Vande Bharat – Vande Chair Car, Vande Sleeper and Vande Metro trains will run on the tracks in the country. These indigenous semi-high speed trains are being prepared to replace Shatabdi, Rajdhani and local trains. These trains are being manufactured at the Integrated Coach Factory in Chennai.
