Vande Bharat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to gift 9 new Vande Bharat Express trains to the country this Sunday i.e. 24th September. These will cover many states and cities of the country and through these, it will be easier for the passengers on many routes.
On Sunday, September 24, another golden chapter will be added in the history of Indian Railways when the country will get the gift of 9 Vande Bharat Express trains in the form of 9 more semi-high speed trains. Through the launch of these trains, many states of the country will get access to new and modern trains.
Which states are getting Vande Bharat
Rajasthan, Gujarat, Telangana, Odisha, Kerala as well as Howrah in West Bengal and Chennai in Tamil Nadu are going to get 2 trains each. Indian Railways has given information about some trains through some posts on social media platform X.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had made an important announcement regarding Vande Bharat Train in May 2023 in which it was said that a total of three types of Vande Bharat Trains will be operated in the country by February March 2024. It is noteworthy that Vande Bharat trains have been made with 100 percent Indian technology, which is being prepared to replace trains like Shatabdi, Rajdhani. This train is being manufactured at the Integrated Coach Factory in Chennai. Vande Bharat train is a semi-high speed train made with 100 percent Indian technology and can run at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
