Vande Bharat: The South Central Railway (SCR) division has changed the schedule and stoppages of Vande Bharat trains running between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad. This decision was taken in the face of huge demand from passengers.

Made in India semi-high speed ‘Vande Bharat’ express trains are providing a brand new traveling experience to the passengers. These trains are running on major routes of the country. However, Indian Railways is making key changes in terms of stops and timings to reduce the occupancy.

In this order, the South Central Railway (SCR) department has changed the schedule and stoppages of Vande Bharat trains running between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad. This decision was taken in the background of huge demand from the passengers. The people of Kakinada district are demanding this Vande Bharat stop. For the convenience of passengers, the Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express has been given the opportunity to stop at Samarlakota station in Kakinada, South Central Railway Zone said in a statement.

This is the first Vande Bharat train to run between two Telugu states. It started as the eighth Vande Bharat train in the country. This ultra modern train runs on all days of the week except Sunday. This train has 16 coaches. It has two types of seating arrangements. Passengers can select AC Chair Car, Executive Chair Car seating option.

Total Five Stops : Vande Bharat Express train number 20833/20834 VSKP-SC-VSKP is running between these two cities. Now the train on this route stops at five stations like Samarlakota, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal instead of four stations. Samarlakota station falls under SCR Vijayawada Division. This train is 699 km between Visakha and Secunderabad. Covers the distance in eight hours and 30 minutes.

Timings : Railway department has also revised the timings of Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express. “The timings of Train No. 20833/20834 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express have been given a stop at Samarlakota,” South Central Railway said in a statement.

As per the new schedule.. now 20833 VSKP-SC Vande Bharat Express will depart Visakhapatnam at 5.45 am and stop at Samarlakota station at 7:14 am. From there the return journey starts at 7:15.

It reaches Rajahmundry at 7:55 and departs at 7:57. It reaches Vijayawada at 9:50 and departs at 9:55. It then reaches Khammam at 11:00 and departs at 11:01. It reaches Warangal at 12:05 and departs at 12:06.

Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express Timing : Vande Bharat Express departs from Secunderabad station at 3 pm (15.00), reaches Warangal station at 16:35 hrs and departs at 16:36 hrs. Reach Khammam at 17:45 hrs and start journey at 17:46 hrs.

Then it will go to Vijayawada Junction at 19:00 hrs. It will depart from there at 19:05. It then reaches Rajahmundry at 20:58 and departs at 21:00. It reaches Samarlakota at 21:34 hrs and starts again from there at 21:35 hrs.
