New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express: Indian Railways started the commercial service of the first 20 coach Vande Bharat Express train from Varanasi Junction today (18 September). This semi-high-speed train runs between Varanasi and New Delhi Railway Station of the capital Delhi. Let us tell you that this week PM Narendra Modi has flagged off new Vande Bharat trains for many routes across the country simultaneously.
Now more passengers will be able to travel in the 20 coach Vande Bharat Express manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. Earlier, Vande Bharat trains with 16 coaches and 8 coaches were running between Delhi-Varanasi. Certainly, running a 20 coach train will reduce the waitlist. Up to 1440 passengers will be able to travel at a time in the new train.
Two new Vande Bharat Express trains with 20 coaches have been introduced on the New Delhi-Varanasi route. These new trains will replace the old ones and will be operated and maintained by the Northern Railway zone.
The Vande Bharat Express train service running between New Delhi-Varanasi includes train numbers 22436/22435 and 22415/22416. The train will cover the distance of 771 km in about 8 hours and will be the fastest train running on this route.

Train number 22415 (Varanasi to New Delhi) will depart from New Delhi at 6 am and reach Varanasi at 2:05 pm.
Train number 22435 (Varanasi to New Delhi) will depart from Varanasi at 3 pm and reach New Delhi Railway Station at 11 pm.

During the journey on the way, this train will stop at Prayagraj Junction and Kanpur Central Station. With this new service, the travel experience is expected to be better for the passengers traveling between Varanasi and the national capital.
