At present, trial of high speed Vande Bharat train will be done. These trains will run at a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour. At present the maximum speed of Vande Bharat is 130 km per hour. If this trial is successful then passengers will save about 45 minutes.
The Commission of Railway Safety, a part of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has given permission for the trial run of Vande Bharat of 16 coaches. During this trial, maximum attention will be given to security. Keeping security in mind, the trial run will be done during the day only. Apart from this, weather will also be taken into consideration. When the train passes through any station or crossing, RPF personnel will be deployed there. RPF personnel will be deployed even where there is no proper barricading.
Pilots will be trained before this trial of Vande Bharat. Apart from this, his medical checkup will also be done. Care will also be taken that at the time of passing of 160 kilometer per hour Vande Bharat, no train from that route should cross the station. Once the trials are completed and Vande Bharat starts running at this speed, a lot of time will be saved for the people.
Let us tell you that Railways is now planning to run sleeper Vande Bharat trains also. There are preparations to run sleeper Vande Bharat train from Gorakhpur to Agra also. There is going to be a discussion regarding its time table soon. According to the proposal, this sleeper Vande Bharat will run 6 days a week from Agra Fort. This train will travel between Agra and Gorakhpur in 10 hours.
