Vande Bharat Express: The number of Vande Bharat Express trains is continuously increasing in the country. Now operation of 9 Vande Bharat Express is going to start soon. According to media reports, for the first time, Indian Railways is going to start 9 Vande Bharat trains simultaneously. Currently, 25 Vande Bharat Expresses are running on 50 routes across India. India’s first semi high speed train equipped with world class passenger amenities has been very popular among the passengers.
Let us tell you that more than 1 lakh passengers have traveled in Vande Bharat trains within a month. According to the report of news agency ANI, according to Central Railway, a total of 1.22 lakh passengers traveled in Vande Bharat trains in the Central Railway area from August 15 to September 8. Railways earned a total revenue of Rs 10.72 crore within a month.
Temporary routes have reportedly been assigned for five of the total 9 Vande Bharat trains. The remaining have been given to Southern Railway, but have not been finalized yet. The five new temporary Vande Bharat routes are:-
Indore-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express
Jaipur-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express
Puri-Rourkela Vande Bharat Express
Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express
Jaipur-Chandigarh Vande Bharat Express
Where and how much Vande Bharat is going?
Currently, 25 Vande Bharat Expresses are running on 50 routes across India – four in the Northern zone, three in the Southern and Central zone, two in the Western, West Central and North Western Railway zone, and one in the South East Central. Meanwhile, the trial run of Odisha’s second Puri Rourkela Vande Bharat Express started from Monday. For the convenience of passengers between coastal and western Odisha regions, the train will run on Puri Bhubaneswar Cuttack Dhenkanal Angul Rourkela route. Odisha’s first Vande Bharat Express from Puri to Howrah was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in May.
