Vande Bharat Express: Railways changed the schedule of Vande Bharat Express running on this route; View routes, times, stops and more

Indian Railways: The country’s second Vande Bharat Express train was started between New Delhi and Katra in Jammu and Kashmir. This train takes the devotees who want to visit Vaishno Devi to Katra.

Indian Railways: Indian Railways has changed the timings of Vande Bharat Express. This change has been made in the schedule of the country’s second Vande Bharat Express i.e. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express. According to the new schedule released by Indian Railways, now Vande Bharat Express (train number 22440) going from New Delhi to Katra will depart five minutes earlier than its earlier scheduled time.

Issuing a statement, Northern Railway said, “For the information of the general public, it is notified that due to operational reasons, the timing of Train No. 22440 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express has been changed from March 18. ”

Vande Bharat Express will depart 5 minutes earlier

The statement said that Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express will now depart from Katra 5 minutes earlier at 2:55 pm instead of its scheduled time of 3 pm (15:00 pm as per Railways). This train will depart from Katra and reach Jammu Tawi at 16:08 (4:08 pm) as per railway time instead of 4:13 pm. There is no change in the timing of Vande Bharat Express after Jammu Tawi. It will reach Delhi at its scheduled time of 11 pm.

Train numbers 22439 and 22440 i.e. New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express stops at a total of four stations during its journey. These stations are Ambala Cantt Junction, Ludhiana Junction, Pathankot Cantonment and Jammu Tawi.

Vande Bharat Express runs 6 days a week from Katra and New Delhi. This train does not run on Wednesday. In Vande Bharat Express, passengers get the option of AC chair car and executive chair car.
