The country is getting the gift of another Vande Bharat Express train. This month, PM Narendra Modi will flag it off. It will operate for Rajasthan.
Vande Bharat Express Train For Rajasthan: Indian Railways has given another good news for the passengers. Another Vande Bharat train is being started for Rajasthan. This will be the second semi high speed train of this state, which will give relief to thousands of passengers. It will save people’s time. This month the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will flag off this Vande Bharat Express train. However, it is not yet clear whether the Prime Minister will inaugurate this train virtually or physically.
According to the report of Financial Express, the new rake will reach Jodhpur today and tomorrow by Shashi Kiran, CPRO of North Western Railway. After this trial run will be done. This train will be inaugurated by PM Modi on July 7, 2023. This second Vande Bharat Express train of Rajasthan will connect Rajasthan to Gujarat. It will run between Jodhpur and Ahmedabad. This train will be operated and maintained by North Western Railway.
How much distance will this train cover?
Jodhpur-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express train will cover a distance of 453 kilometer. It is being said that the Vande Bharat train will cover this distance in just 6 hours. Currently the fastest trains between the two stations are Shri Ganganagar-H Sahib Nanded Express and Bikaner-Yesvantpur Express. Both the trains cover the same distance at 07:35 and 07:40 respectively.
Where will this train stop
This new-age train is expected to stop at select railway stations on its route. Here Vande Bharat Express train can stop at places like Pali Marwar, Falna, Abu Road, Palanpur Junction and Mahesana Junction. The final time table will be announced soon by the National Transporter.
When did the first Vande Bharat Express start in Rajasthan
Rajasthan got the first Vande Bharat Express train on April 12, 2023. Launched towards PM Narendra Modi, this train operates between Ajmer and Delhi Cantonment. It is also the world’s first semi high speed passenger train on high rise overhead electric (OHE) area. During its journey between Ajmer and Delhi, the train halts at three stations – Jaipur, Alwar and Gurgaon.
