Vande Bharat: There is good news for those who like to travel by Vande Bharat Express train. Now Vande Bharat will run between Mysore and Chennai every day of the week. This decision has been taken till the end of March this year regarding this train going through Bengaluru. Earlier this train used to run only 6 days a week and its movement was stopped every Wednesday. It is known that the first Vande Bharat train for South India was launched in November 2022. Now South-Western Railways has said that this special train will operate every day of the week till March 27.
Vande Bharat Express train number 06037 Dr. MGR departs from Chennai Central for Mysore. It was told by South-Western Railway that this train will also run on Wednesday from 7th February. At present this facility has been given to the passengers till March 27. Similarly, train number 06038 which goes from Mysore to Dr. MGR Chennai Central will also run on Wednesdays from February 7 to March 27. It is believed that this decision of Railways will provide a lot of relief to the passengers. People who had to travel on this route on Wednesday missed traveling by Vande Bharat train.
Know the timing of Mysore-Chennai Vande Bharat
Let us tell you that this Vande Bharat Express train covers a distance of 500 kilometers between Mysore and Chennai in which it takes 6 hours and 25 minutes. Train number 06037 departs from Chennai at 05:50 am and reaches Mysore at 12.20 pm. En route, the train stops at Katpadi (arrival at 07.13 hrs and departure at 07.15 hrs) and KSR Bengaluru (arrival at 10.10 hrs and departure at 10.15 hrs). Whereas, train number 06038 leaves Mysuru at 01.05 pm and reaches Chennai at 07.20 pm. En route, this train stops at KSR Bengaluru (arrival at 02.50 pm and departure at 02.55 pm) and Katpadi (arrival at 05.33 pm and departure at 05.35 pm) station.
