Vande Bharat Express: Passengers travelling in the Vande Bharat Express train going from Delhi to Varanasi were shocked when water started dripping from the roof of the train. Now its video is going viral on social media. People are venting their anger by tagging Northern Railways. The video has been made by a passenger travelling in the train. In this, water can be seen dripping from the roof of the train and falling on the seats.

In the video, a woman says, “Tell everyone in your college! No one should travel…” Sharing the video, an Instagram user wrote, “Look at the condition of Vande Bharat train. This train runs on Delhi-Varanasi route. Vande Bharat’s number is 22416.” Soon after the video started doing the rounds, Northern Railway has given a clarification.

The official Instagram handle of the railways attributed the water leakage to “temporary blockage in pipes”. It wrote, “A little water leakage was observed in the coach due to temporary blockage in pipes! The staff present in the train noticed it and fixed it. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.” The video, shared on July 2, has been viewed more than 35,000 times. Social media users also criticized the Railway Ministry for poor management of trains.

Banaras-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express narrowly escapes accident

On June 22, Vande Bharat Express going from Banaras to Delhi narrowly escaped an accident after colliding with an animal. According to official sources of the railway, an animal collided with the train, due to which the engine of Vande Bharat Express got damaged, due to which the train was stopped at Bharthana railway station for about an hour.

Public Relations Officer of Prayagraj Railway Division Amit Kumar Singh said that after an animal came in front of the engine, the engine of Vande Bharat Express got damaged, after which Vande Bharat Express was stopped at Bharthana railway station. The defect has been rectified by a team of engineers. After this, the train has been sent to New Delhi.

Railway officials said that at around 7:45, Vande Bharat Express stopped at Bharthana railway station in Etawah district. After this, information came to light that there was a technical fault in the engine of Vande Bharat Express. After the railway officials got this information, a team of about half a dozen railway engineers reached the spot who tried to fix the technical fault. After a lot of hard work, the technical fault of the engine was fixed around 9 o’clock, then at 9:02, the train was sent to New Delhi.
