When the Vande Bharat Express was started by the railway administration between Meerut and Lucknow, it got a good response. Currently, passengers are being found to go from Lucknow to Meerut, but the number of passengers coming from Meerut to Lucknow is less. Due to this, the railways are incurring losses. To increase the number of passengers, a plan has been made to extend the train to Varanasi.
In the chair car of train number 22490 Vande Bharat Express coming from Meerut to Lucknow, 302, 343, 353, 347, 324 seats are vacant respectively from 11 to 15 December. The fare is Rs 1,355. In the executive class, 12, 18, 32, 28, five seats are vacant on the above dates. The ticket in these categories is going for Rs 2,415.
New Delhi-Jaynagar Express will remain canceled today and tomorrow
The train running between New Delhi and Jaynagar has been canceled due to doubling work between Jhunsi Prayagraj Rambagh Prayagraj Junction of Northern Railway Lucknow Division. Senior DCM Kuldeep Tiwari said that train number 12562 New Delhi Jaynagar Express will remain cancelled on Wednesday and train number 12561 Jaynagar New Delhi Express will remain cancelled on Tuesday.
