Seeing the increasing demand for Vande Bharat trains, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that by the year 2029, there is a plan to increase the number of Vande Bharat Sleeper trains in the country to about 250 units.

Delhi-Mumbai railway route of railways is in high demand, trains on this route remain jam packed throughout the year. Getting a confirmed ticket on these routes is like winning a battle. In such a situation, running Vande Bharat Sleeper train on this route will provide great relief to the passengers. It is believed that the railways will first operate Vande Bharat Sleeper trains on the Delhi-Mumbai route. However, no official statement has been issued by the railways in this regard. The railways hope that these trains will replace Rajdhani Express in the coming days.

The maximum speed of Vande Bharat Sleeper trains will be 160 kmph. The train will have a total of 16 coaches, in which 823 berths will be of different classes. With the arrival of Vande Bharat Sleeper train, long distance travel will become easier. It will have 10 coaches of third AC, four coaches of second AC, while one coach will be of first AC. This train will also have two SLR coaches. At present, details about the fare of the train have not been revealed.

These trains will not jerk even at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
