Vande Bharat Express: From June 27, the Ministry of Railways will start operating an eight-coach Vande Bharat train between Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi and Bihar’s capital Patna. Its third and final test journey was successful on Sunday.

Vande Bharat Express: From June 27, the Ministry of Railways will start operating eight-coach Vande Bharat train between Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi and Bihar’s capital Patna. Its third and final test journey was successful on Sunday.

Chief Public Relations Officer of South-East Railway in Hajipur zone, Birendra Kumar said that the third trial run of this eight-coach high-speed passenger train on Sunday was completely successful. Earlier on June 12 and 18, the first and second test journey of this train was done respectively.

He told that now this train is fully ready for inauguration on June 27 and regular operation of Vande Bharat train will also start between the two cities from June 28.

The train is likely to be inaugurated online by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The South Eastern Railway had said in a statement on Saturday that it has been ensured by the Ministry of Railways that the Vande Bharat Express train will be operated between Patna-Ranchi-Patna.

Train number 02439 Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat Express will depart from Ranchi at 10:30 a.m. after the inauguration. Train number 22349 Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express train will depart from Patna six days a week (except Tuesday) from 28th June.
