Vande Bharat Train: Good news! New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat started for Diwali-Chhath; Check time table and fare

New Delhi Patna Vande Bharat: Keeping in mind the festive season, Indian Railways has started this new service. This train will cover the journey from New Delhi to Patna in 11 hours 35 minutes.

Keeping in mind the enthusiasm of passengers, railway has planned to run Vande Bharat trains on many new routes, in which New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Express has also been included. Keeping the festive season in mind, Indian Railways has started this new service. New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat is providing a great option to passengers, who are facing the rush for tickets during Diwali and Chhath Puja, to reach home. With this service connecting Patna to Delhi, the journey of thousands of passengers will not only become easier but faster as well.

At which stations will the New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat stop

The Indian Railway Ministry has announced that this train is currently being run on a trial basis, which will stop at important stations like Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Junction, Prayagraj and Kanpur between Delhi and Patna.

How much time will New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat take

This Vande Bharat Express, which covers a total distance of 994 km, will complete the journey from Delhi to Patna in just 11 hours 35 minutes. Comparatively, the Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express takes 11 hours 55 minutes, while the Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Tejas Rajdhani covers this distance in 11 hours 30 minutes. Amid the increase in the number of passengers during festivals, Vande Bharat Express will prove to be an important service, which will make it easier for Biharis living in Delhi to return home.

What will be the time table and fare of New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat

This new train service is expected to reduce travel pressure and increase passenger capacity. Vande Bharat Express will operate three days a week from Delhi to Patna on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. This service from Patna to Delhi will be available on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Departing from Delhi at 8:25 am, this train will reach Patna at 8 pm, while departing from Patna at 7:30 am, it will reach Delhi at 7 pm.

Only chair car seats are available in this service, in which the fare of AC chair car will be Rs 2,575 and the fare of executive chair car will be Rs 4,655. Vande Bharat Express service is starting from October 30, in which its upcoming trips have been scheduled on 1, 3 and 6 November, while the return service from Patna to Delhi will run on 2, 4 and 7 November.
