Railways is considering starting Vande Bharat Sleeper Train between New Delhi and Srinagar. PM Modi can launch this project on Republic Day. Discussions are being held with the PMO regarding this.

According to the information, the stop of this Vande Bharat train will be limited to major stations like Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jammu Tawi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. The new Vande Bharat Sleeper train will cover a distance of more than 800 kilometers in less than 13 hours. It will depart from New Delhi at 7 pm and reach Srinagar at 8 am. Fares have been fixed for each class of passengers in Vande Bharat Sleeper. Fares have been fixed for third AC at Rs 2,000, second AC at Rs 2,500 and first class at Rs 3,000.

Passengers will get these facilities in the train

This train has been designed keeping in mind the comfort of the passengers. The train will have modern facilities. This includes upgraded berths, better lighting and climate-controlled environment. It is believed that the introduction of Vande Bharat Sleeper will boost tourism in Jammu and Kashmir. At present, this train will run between New Delhi and Srinagar, but there is also a plan to extend this service to Baramulla later. This extension will further improve connectivity in North Kashmir, making travel easier for both locals and tourists.

The most difficult Katra-Banihal 111 km long rail route in the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link has been prepared. This also includes the work of a 3.2 km T-1 tunnel between Katra residential area. The tunnel was not being built in the size it was being built. For this, the help of foreign experts was taken. Now its obstacles have been removed. According to the information, this project is now in its final stage. As soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi gets time, the official announcement of the date of inauguration of this project will be made by the railways.

The work of the 272 km long rail route project is now in its final stage. Work is going on on the 111 km long Katra to Banihal section. An arch bridge has been built on this. This rail section was the most challenging part of the project. Here 97 percent of the track in the hilly area passes through tunnels or bridges. The work of building tunnels in the hills of Reasi and Ramban districts was extremely difficult.

The world’s tallest Chenab Bridge was built

This project also includes the world’s tallest Chenab Bridge. There are a total of 38 tunnels in the project. The largest tunnel in this is 12.75 km. There are also 927 bridges, including the Chenab Bridge. Its length is 1375 meters, the length of the archer is 467 meters and the height is 359 meters. This bridge, about 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower, is considered to be the tallest archer bridge.

A proposal for these trains has been prepared

As soon as this project is completed, 32 trains (up-down) will be run on the track. Under this, train number 12425/26 New Delhi to Jammu Tawi, 12445/46 New Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, 16031/32 Chennai Central to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, 11449/50 Jabalpur to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, 16787/88 Tirunelveli to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, 16317/18 Kanyakumari to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, 19803/04 Kota to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, 12331/32 Howrah to Jammu Tawi and seven other trains are included.
