Vande Bharat train: The trial of the sleeper Vande Bharat train has been done at a speed of 180 kmph, while its speed will be 160 kmph. This train will run at the highest speed compared to any other train in India.
Vande Bharat: All the states across the country have received Vande Bharat trains. Now the sleeper Vande Bharat is being eagerly awaited. Soon this train can also be seen running on the track. Meanwhile, the general manager of the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) where Vande Bharat trains are being made has given good news. ICF General Manager Subba Rao has said that in terms of speed and ride comfort, Vande Bharat sleeper trains will be better than Rajdhani Express trains. Giving the good news, he said that we are going to make 10 sleeper Vande Bharat trains, which will have 16 coaches. It is being made in collaboration with BEML and the first prototype has already left the factory, whose field trial is going on.
Talking to Times of India, he said that the trial of the sleeper Vande Bharat train has been done at a speed of 180 kmph, while its speed will be 160 kmph. This train will run at the highest speed compared to any other train in India. The features inside the train have also been kept very modern, so that the passengers do not face any problem. The train will have 16 coaches and the Railway Board will decide on which route these trains will run.
Update on Amrit Bharat train too
Along with this, he also gave an update on Amrit Bharat trains. He said that we have received an order to make 50 Amrit Bharat trains, out of which 25 will be made by ICF and the remaining 25 by the factory in Kapurthala. These trains with 22 coaches will have pantry car as well as general class coaches. At the same time, talking about the bullet train project, he told that the new high-speed trains will be of the same standard as bullet trains. The definition of high speed train is more than 250 kmph, because at that speed the aerodynamics change and noise insulation is important. There are a lot of technical issues involved. ICF will work with BEML to produce two 8 car bullet trains. This bullet train will run in the Ahmedabad to Mumbai corridor.
