Vande Bharat Train: Indians enjoying the speed of Vande Bharat will soon get the gift of high-speed trains. Recently, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has hinted at this. It is being said that these new trains will include many modern facilities including automatic doors. It is reported that the speed of these new trains will be more than 250 km per hour.
According to media reports, ICF i.e. Integral Coach Factory in Chennai is making high-speed trains in collaboration with BEML. These special trains will be able to achieve a speed of 280 km per hour. The Railway Minister told the Lok Sabha on Wednesday that after the launch of Vande Bharat under Make in India, the Railways is working on this new project. The speed of Vande Bharat is 160 km per hour.
Actually, the question was asked by Sudhir Gupta and Anant Nayak of Bharatiya Janata Party. To this Vaishnav replied, ‘The cost of construction will be around Rs 28 crore per car. Taxes are not included in this…’
How will it be special
According to reports, the chair car train sets will have modern facilities. These will include aerodynamic exteriors, sealed gangways, automatic doors, climate control, monitoring through CCTV, mobile charging points, better lights and fire safety systems. Apart from this, Vaishnav has also given information about air tight car bodies, electrical system with high speed propulsion, advanced HVAC system.
