Vande Bharat Express special train will depart from Saturday to Monday at 8.30 am and reach Patna at 8.10 pm. Its operation from Patna to Delhi will be from Sunday to Tuesday.
Vande Bharat Train: In view of the rush of passengers due to festivals like Chaiti Chhath Puja 2025, Chaitra Navratri and Eid, the Railways has announced to run several special trains from the country’s capital Delhi to Bihar-UP. Under this, a Vande Bharat special train is also to be operated. Vande Bharat special train from New Delhi to Patna will run from Saturday. Apart from this, passengers will also get special trains from various railway stations of Delhi to other cities including Saharsa, Bhagalpur and Katihar.
Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway (ECR), Saraswati Chandra, said on Friday that train number 02436 New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Special will depart from New Delhi at 8.30 am daily from 29 to 31 March and reach Patna at 8.10 pm. On the return journey, this train Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Special (02435) will depart from Patna at 8.30 am daily from 30 March to 1 April and reach New Delhi at 8.10 pm.

Let us tell you that in the past, the railway has run Vande Bharat Express special train on Delhi-Patna-Delhi route on festivals like Diwali, Chhath Puja and Holi. However, due to the route being a bit long, this train has not been made permanent. The railway has a plan to run Vande Bharat sleeper train between Delhi and Patna, which can be completed this year.

– 04088 New Delhi-Patna Superfast Festival from 29 March to 1 April daily
– 04087 Patna-New Delhi Superfast Festival Special from 29 March to 2 April daily
– 04089 Saharsa-New Delhi Superfast Festival Special on 29 March and 1 April
– 04090 New Delhi-Saharsa Festival Special will leave from New Delhi on 31 March
– 04430 Anand Vihar-Bhagalpur Unreserved Special on 29 and 30 March
– 04429 Bhagalpur-Anand Vihar Unreserved Special from 29 to 31 March
– 04432 Delhi-Saharsa Unreserved Special on 29 and 30 March
– 04431 Saharsa-Delhi Unreserved Special on 30 and 31 March
– 04438 Delhi-Katihar unreserved special on 29 and 30 March
– 04437 Katihar-New Delhi unreserved special will run from 29 to 31 March.
