Vande Bharat Train: South Eastern Railway Zone will soon run Vande Bharat Metro train on 19 crowded routes. Railways has conducted a survey to run Vande Bharat Metro train at stations in Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal and Odisha. Due to this, there is a plan to run Vande Bharat Metro train on Tatanagar to Gaya, Howrah and Dhanbad route, so that more and more passengers can get the facility of Vande Bharat Metro train with modern facilities.
Plan to run Vande Bharat on these routes
Presently Vande Bharat train runs from Ranchi to Howrah via Tatanagar station. In this, most of the seats are booked from Tatanagar. Under the new plan, Vande Bharat Metro train is to run from Ranchi, Bokaro, Rourkela, Tori, Asansol and Kharagpur to Digha, Balasore and other routes.
Tourism will get a boost
According to Railways, on the demand of passengers, there is a plan to run Vande Bharat Metro train on the new route, where trials will be held soon. Running of Vande Bharat Metro train will boost tourism in Jharkhand, Bengal and Odisha zones. On the other hand, Railways is also keeping an eye on the ticket booking and number of passengers in the trains running on the said route for Vande Bharat Metro train.
It is noteworthy that in the last few years, one by one Vande Bharat trains have been received. These trains running at high speed are making people’s travel special and easy. A few months ago, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had told that more than 82 Vande Bharat trains are running in the country. He had given this figure in February. The number of Vande Bharat trains is continuously increasing. There are often reports of stone pelting on these trains.

A case of transporting liquor from Tatanagar to other districts and states by train has come to light. On Monday morning, Railway Police recovered 40 bottles of English liquor worth thousands of rupees from Ernakulam Express. It is said that English liquor was kept under the seat in the M-1 coach. The passenger of the said seat was keeping his luggage under the seat, but due to there being many cartoons, he was facing difficulty in keeping the luggage. He interrogated other passengers for keeping the cartoons. When everyone refused, he started making noise.
Due to this, platform duty officials and soldiers of Railway Police reached the coach. Upon investigation, they found alcohol in the cartoon and informed the senior officials. The liquor carton was taken off the coach and brought to the railway station, while Sanha was registered and the English liquor recovered from the train was handed over to the District Excise Department. Here, after liquor was found in Ernakulam Express, the activity of GRP and RPF increased.
