Vande Bharat Train: Passengers will not remain hungry if the train gets delayed in fog, now ‘ready to eat’ meal in eight minutes in Vande Bharat

Vande Bharat Train: Dense fog has spoiled the railway time table. Vande Bharat Express is also facing the brunt of fog. After waiting for hours, train passengers are reaching their destination. Due to this, passengers are facing problems in getting food. Now passengers will get packaged food while traveling in Vande Bharat.

Varanasi: “Ready to eat” (packed food) meals will be served to passengers in both the trips of Vande Bharat Express, which is continuously getting delayed due to fog. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has also implemented the new system. Passengers had recently raised questions on the quality of food in the train.

Due to delay of Vande Bharat Express, the catering arrangements had also deteriorated. Instead of the stipulated eight hours, Vande Bharat is taking up to 15 hours to cover the distance between New Delhi-Varanasi. That is why there started to be a difference in the menu of lunch, dinner and breakfast. The Railway Administration has taken cognizance of the flood of such complaints on Internet Media Platform X.

“Ready to eat” meals in eight minutes

The specialty of the “ready to eat” meal is that it can be prepared in eight minutes and served to the passengers. During the Corona period, packaged food had become a better option in the catering system of Railways. At that time, there was a ban on serving cooked food in trains due to the fear of spreading infection.
