Also, in trains having Reserved Secondary Sitting (2S) coaches, seats will also be reserved for Divyangs. If there are more than two coaches in AC chair category, two seats will be reserved in advance. Not only this, even in trains with AC three economy coaches, two seats will be given to the disabled. Divyangs will also get four berths in SLRD coach of Garib Rath Express.

Some important rules of Vande Bharat Express
- There is no senior citizen/Divyang/Journalist quota option in this train, as well as child fare is also charged in the train. The quota available in this train is General and Tatkal.
- Vande Bharat runs from Delhi to Varanasi 5 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are many other such Vande Bharats which run for 5 or 6 days.
- Passengers can also go through the IRCTC e-ticketing website or Indian Railways ticket counters or ticket booking offices to have the option of opting or not opting for meal facilities at the time of ticket booking.
- According to IRCTC, if a passenger does not opt for the catering service in advance and later decides to buy it onboard, then apart from the catering charges, you will have to pay Rs 50 extra for each service.
