Vande Bharat Train video: Indian Railways has tested the new Vande Bharat sleeper coach train in Kota, Rajasthan. Here it was trialled by running it on different types of railway tracks at different high speeds.

Vande Bharat Train Video: Railways is ready to bring fast and safe rail travel for passengers in the country in the new year. After giving fast, safe and world-class travel experience to people traveling in short and medium distance chair car trains, Indian Railways is also making it a reality for long distance trains. For this, it is continuously conducting trials. In this episode, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has released a video of Vande Bharat on Friday in which he told that even after running Vande Bharat at a fast speed of 180 kmph, not even a drop of water fell in the glass kept near the mobile in the train coach.

Vande Bharat ran at a speed of 180 KM in Rajasthan

Several tests of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train are being conducted for the last three days on a 40 km long route in Rajasthan. In this, it was successful in achieving the maximum speed of 180 kmph yesterday i.e. Friday. At present, this test will be done by the end of this month i.e. January. “This train will then be made available to rail passengers across the country to provide world-class long distance travel facilities.”

Railway Minister released the video

In a press release issued by the Ministry of Railways, it was told that on Friday, a video has been released on ‘X’ by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. In which it is shown that a glass filled with water is kept next to the mobile phone on the food tray attached to the seat inside the Vande Bharat Sleeper train. The train is running on the railway track at a maximum speed of 180 kmph. Despite being at such a speed, not a single drop of water fell from the glass filled with water kept in the train. From which it can be understood how comfortable the journey of high speed rail will be in the coming times.

The ministry further informed, “This video was released after three days of successful trials completed on January 2, in which the Vande Bharat Sleeper train was seen accelerating to maximum speed in a full state.” He told that on January 2, during the 30 km long journey between Kota and Laban in Bundi district of Rajasthan, the train managed to achieve a maximum speed of 180 kmph.

Tests will continue till the end of January

According to the ministry, “A day earlier, on the first day of the year 2025, the Vande Bharat Sleeper train had achieved a maximum speed of 180 kmph during a 40 km long test journey from Rohalkhurd to Kota.” It said, “On the same day, the train ran at a speed of 170 kmph and 160 kmph on the Kota-Nagda and Rohalkhurd-Chow Mahala sections. These tests will continue till the end of January under the supervision of RDSO, Lucknow.”

The ministry said on these ongoing tests that after the completion of the tests, the Railway Safety Commissioner will evaluate the capacity of the train after running at maximum speed. So that the train will be officially approved for general passengers to travel only after examining every aspect.

The Railway Ministry said that the design of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is like an airplane and it will be equipped with facilities like automatic doors, very comfortable berths and WiFi. It said, “After these successful trials, rail passengers can expect a world-class travel experience on long distance routes including Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Delhi to Mumbai, Howrah to Chennai.”
