Actually, 80 percent of the seats of the Vande Bharat train running on the Secunderabad-Nagpur route are going empty. According to the capacity of the train, only 20 percent passengers are traveling. The train is running with empty coaches.

Vande Bharat trains were started in Telangana a few days ago. This was the 5th Vande Bharat train in it. Officials are also surprised by the lack of passengers in this train. On the contrary, other Vande Bharat trains running to nearby cities are getting a large number of passengers. These trains are running with 100 percent capacity of passengers.

Lack of passengers in Secunderabad-Nagpur Vande Bharat train

According to media reports, Vande Bharat train number (20102) left for Nagpur from Secunderabad on 22 September (Sunday). More than 1200 seats were vacant till some time before the departure of this train. Whereas the total capacity of the train is 1440 seats. Apart from this, less than 10 passengers had made reservations in two executive class coaches, which have a total of 88 seats. Vande Bharat train was started on this route on 16 September. Its purpose was to connect Vidarbha of Maharashtra with Ramagundam, Kazipet and Secunderabad. So that the local people can get benefit from business point of view. This train covers the distance from Secunderabad to Nagpur in 7 hours and 15 minutes.

Will Vande Bharat run or stop if there are no passengers?

At present, the Vande Bharat train running from Secunderabad to Nagpur is facing a huge shortage of passengers. In such a situation, speculations are being made that this train should be stopped for a few days. However, railway officials say that if the number of passengers is less, the number of coaches will be reduced. At present, 20 coaches are running. This can be reduced to 8 coaches. In this case, the number of seats will be reduced by more than 500.
