Lucknow: Vande Bharat trains may start operating from Lucknow to Patna, Mumbai, Puri, Katra, Dehradun and Meerut before the Lok Sabha elections. Last week, Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav also announced to run Vande Bharat train from Lucknow to Meerut.
After this, railway officials have intensified preparations for operating new trains. Similarly, approval has been given to run Vande Bharat train from Gomtinagar to Katra, Puri and Mumbai.
Preparation for another Vande Bharat from Varanasi
Currently a Vande Bharat Express is running between Delhi and Varanasi. On the demand of passengers, preparations are being made to run another Vande Bharat Express between the two stations. According to sources, its survey has also been completed.
