Good news for Vande Bharat travelers! Indian Railways has started the ticket booking process for the first Vande Bharat Express train to Odisha. The new train will run between Puri and Howrah. This is also going to be the second train of the new era for the state of West Bengal. The train will start its regular service from May 20, 2023.
How to book Vande Bharat Express ticket
Howrah-Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express Semi-High Speed Train ticket can be booked both online and offline. Passengers can visit the official website or app of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to reserve their seats. Online tickets can also be booked through authorized partners of IRCTC.
For offline mode, passengers have to book their tickets through Passenger Reservation System (PRS). The train has two types of seating arrangements – AC Chair Car (CC) and Executive Chair Car (EC). Only passengers with confirmed tickets will be allowed to board the train.
