Northern Railway has prepared the proposed timetable of Vande Bharat from Meerut to Banaras. Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Laxmikant Vajpayee has claimed the operation of Vande Bharat via Ayodhya Varanasi. He has said that soon Northern Railway will release the timetable of via Ayodhya. Lucknow Railway Division will survey the Ayodhya railway track and will soon submit its report to the Railway Board. After this, Vande Bharat will start running till Banaras. As per the proposed time, the train will leave from Meerut at 6:35 am and will reach Banaras at 5:45 pm. It will leave from Banaras at 9:50 am and will reach Meerut City Station at 9:05 pm.
Till now Vande Bharat is running from Meerut to Lucknow and this train is not getting passengers. More than half the train is running empty. Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Laxmikant Vajpayee and MP Arun Govil had met the Railway Minister and demanded to run this train from Lucknow via Ayodhya to Banaras. The Railway Minister had given an assurance. Recently, the Railway Board had directed the Lucknow Railway Division to prepare a survey report of the railway track for Vande Bharat via Ayodhya to Banaras. Now the proposed timetable of Vande Bharat Express from Meerut via Lucknow to Banaras has been prepared.
The journey from Meerut to Banaras will take 11:15 hours
Vande Bharat will complete the journey from Meerut to Banaras in 11 hours 10 minutes and from Banaras to Meerut in 11 and a quarter hours. The timetable has been released by the railways.
