Vande Metro train has been designed on the lines of India’s first indigenous semi-high speed train Vande Bharat to facilitate intercity passengers covering a distance of 250 kilometres. Vande Metro train is similar to Vande Bharat. This will be a train with 16 air-conditioned coaches, whose maximum speed will be 130 km per hour. This train will prove to be a useful train for intercity traffic.
Capacity to carry 280 passengers in each coach
Each coach will have the capacity to carry 280 passengers. These will include 100 sitting and 180 standing passengers.
