Vande Sadharan: Vande Sadharan train is going to arrive very soon on the lines of Vande Bharat Express trains in the country. Railways has completed its preparations for this. Let us see how this special train for the common man is.
Vande Sadharan: The one train which is being discussed the most in the country at present is the Vande Bharat Express train. In February 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this train between Varanasi and the country’s capital Delhi. Since then, a total of 34 pairs of Vande Bharat Express trains have been run in the country. However, at present this train is available only in AC chair car, the fare of which is also slightly higher than other ordinary trains. In such a situation, to bring it within the reach of the common man, Railways is going to launch its non-AC version very soon. The first look of this Vande sadharan train has been revealed. Let us see how special this Vande Ordinary train is.
How is Vande Sadharan Train?
Vande Bharat Express train is the country’s first semi-high speed train. On similar lines, a non-AC train Vande Sadharan is also being prepared for the common man. It is also being called Non AC Push Pull Train. This means that there are engines on both the front and rear of the train and the train can accelerate from anywhere. This train is likely to arrive by the end of this year. It is believed that its trial will start by the end of this month.
There are 22 coaches in Vande Sadharan
Which is being manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF, Chennai) located in Chennai. The set of this train is ready, which has 22 coaches and locomotive engines are installed on both sides. It has 12 sleeper class coaches, 8 general coaches and 2 guard coaches. Two engines are being specially manufactured for Vande Sadhan at Chittaranjan Locomotive Factory (CLW).
The first Vande Bharat train arrived in 2019
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the country’s first Vande Bharat Express train in February 2019. This train runs between Varanasi and New Delhi. After this, it runs between New Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi and Mumbai Central to Gandhinagar. Since then, a total of 34 pairs of Vande Bharat trains have been run in the country.
Preparations are also underway for Vande Metro and Vande Sleeper.
Railways is also working rapidly on the sleeper version of Vande Bharat and Vande Metro. Recently, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has shared the concept photo of sleeper version train of Vande Bharat. It is likely to arrive by March next year. There will be a total of 16 coaches in this train, out of which 11 will be AC 3 tier, 4 AC 2 tier and 1 coach will be 1st AC. The set of this train will be ready before March next year, after which the first train will be sent for testing. At the same time, preparations are also going on in full swing regarding Vande Metro, which is expected to arrive by February-March.
