Its investigation revealed that the incident took place on November 12 at Qutub Minar metro station. In the preliminary investigation, the deceased has been identified as Bhura Singh, a resident of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He lived in Kasan village near Manesar with his son Ashwin.
Bhura Singh had gone to his village a few days ago. He returned on 12 November. He boarded the metro from Delhi and got down at Qutub Minar metro station. It is being told that in a hurry to get out of the metro station quickly, the man tried to cross the tracks to reach platform number one to two instead of using the stairs or escalator.

Meanwhile the metro train arrived. Due to this he got stuck between the train and the platform. Somehow he was taken out and admitted to AIIMS. He died here. Meanwhile, the video of this incident went viral on the internet media on Wednesday.
In the video the incident was reported to have taken place at Chhatarpur metro station. Then an official statement was given by DMRC. It was told by DMRC that this incident happened on 12 November 2023.
A passenger was trapped while trying to cross from one platform to another in an unauthorized manner through the tracks at Qutub Minar station. The train operator immediately applied emergency brakes. The passenger was then sent to AIIMS Trauma Center by the station staff.
