Indians travel to UAE in large numbers every year. Indians especially choose cities like Abu Dhabi and Dubai but after the change in rules, it has become difficult to get visa for Indian tourists going to Dubai. Due to this, travelers are losing money on visa fees and hotel bookings.
Dubai: The government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has recently made several important changes in its visa rules. Due to the strictness of the UAE’s tourist visa application rules, Indians planning to visit Dubai are facing difficulties. Due to this, the number of visa rejections for Indian tourists to Dubai has increased a lot in the recent past. The daily visa rejection rate, which was only 1 to 2 percent earlier, has reached 5 to 6 percent. Visa approval for Indians, which was 99 percent earlier, has now come down to 94. Those applying for Dubai visa have also faced disappointment, who have submitted all the documents fulfilling all the requirements. In some cases, despite all the necessary paperwork, visa applications of entire families were rejected. Visa rejection not only leads to loss of visa fees but also loss of flight tickets and hotel bookings. This reduces the chances of getting approval in future. Business Standards has explained in its report that to avoid this situation, it is important to know the rules before applying for Dubai tourist visa.
