This is a very easy process and you can apply for a visa almost from home. According to a report by NDTV, Japan’s e-Visa program provides a single-entry visa, which lasts for 90 days. It is designed for travelers who are planning to enter Japan by air and hold ordinary passports.
The countries whose people are eligible for Japan’s e-Visa program include Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, UAE, UK, USA and India. Along with the citizens of India, foreign citizens living in India will also be able to apply for e-Visa.
- You can apply for e-visa through the Japan e-visa website. However, some things should be kept in mind.
- Choose the right visa for your trip and submit all the required documents, otherwise your application may be cancelled.
- Fill all the necessary information on the visa application form. Do not try to mislead in any way.
- After the application is completed, the result of your visa application will be sent to the registered email ID.
- After receiving the email, the visa fee has to be paid. After payment, the e-visa will be issued.
