Sri Lanka

The Sri Lankan government on May 6 announced the decision to extend visa-free entry for select countries, including India, till May 31 this year. Tourists from India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Russia and Japan can visit Sri Lanka without a visa for a period of 30 days. However, tourists must first apply for a visa online on the official website www.srilankaevisa.lkstay before reaching Sri Lanka. Free visa will be available for 30 days.

Thailand

Thailand has recently extended its visa service for tourists from India and Taiwan till November 11 for Indians. Indians can enter without visa till 11 November. Tourists from India and Taiwan will be able to enter Thailand without a visa until November 11 after the current relaxations expire on Friday, Prime Minister Shretha Thavisin said after a cabinet meeting. According to the rules, travelers can stay here only for a maximum of 30 days at a time.

Iran

On February 4 this year, Iran abolished the visa requirement for Indian passport holders. Now Indians can travel without visa for 15 days.
