KUWAIT: Investigation against illegal immigrants intensified, new rule regarding renewal of Residency Permit started, applicable from September 10
Visa Rule Change: Many expatriates live and work illegally in Kuwait. Various types of efforts are made by some authorities to crack down on such migrants. The number of migrants who have violated residence visas is very large.
In this regard, Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has informed people about a new change with the help of social media X, in which it has been said that a new law has been made to take action against these people.
What are the rules?
According to this new rule, until the expatriates repay their old loans, they will not be allowed to renew their residence visa.
Migrants should note that this rule has come into effect from Sunday, September 10. Repayment of all debts is mandatory for residence visa renewal.
How can I repay the loan?
It has been informed that the loan can be paid through the website of the state agency or with the help of “Sahl” application.
