Two new flights have been started by Vistara Airline between Bengaluru and Thiruvananthapuram. These flights have started from April 1.
Tata Group’s Vistara airline has started air service between Thiruvananthapuram and Bengaluru. The extension will operate two flights between these two cities. According to the information given by the company, the new flights have started for the general public from April 1, 2024.
Indigo and Air India will face challenge
Starting flights on this new route of Vistara will challenge the country’s largest airline IndiGo and another airline of Tata Group, Air India Express. Till March 31, both the airlines together operate about 8 flights daily on this route. Thiruvananthapuram’s International Airport Authority said on Sunday that after the launch of the new flight by Vistara, the number of flights on this route will increase to 10.
What is the time?
The first flight from Vistara to operate between Thiruvananthapuram and Bengaluru will be in the early morning hours. This flight will take about 1 hour 20 minutes and will take off from Thiruvananthapuram at 5:55 am and reach Bengaluru at 7:15 am. Whereas, the flight from Bengaluru will take off at 10:40 pm and will reach Thiruvananthapuram at 11:40 pm. During this time the flight will be of about one hour.
Whereas, the second flight will take off from Bengaluru at 8:15 am and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 9:30 am. This flight will take about 1 hour 5 minutes. Whereas, on the return flight, this flight will take off from Thiruvananthapuram at 10:10 am and reach Bengaluru at 11:20 am. The return flight will take approximately 1 hour 10 minutes.
Vistara will merge with Air India
Vistara Airlines is a joint venture between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines. The process of its merger with Air India has started. It will be merged soon after regulatory approval.
