New Delhi. Airtel has recently increased the prices of its tariff plans, soon after Vodafone-Idea has also announced tariff hike for various prepaid plans. Vodafone Idea said that the new tariffs will be applicable from November 25, 2021. The basic Vodafone Idea prepaid plan will start at Rs 99 just like Airtel. Offers 99 minutes of talk time, 200MB data plus 1 paise per second voice tariff, with a validity of 28 days.

Increased price of these plans
The lowest plan bundled with 1GB data limit per day with a validity of 28 days will cost Rs 269 from November 25. At present, its price is Rs 219. Apart from this, the plan with a validity of 84 days will cost Rs 719 instead of Rs 599 with 1.5 GB per day data limit. The 365 days plan with 1.5 GB per day data limit will increase by 20.8 percent to Rs 2,899. At present, its price is Rs 2,399.
The company has also increased the price of low value data top-up by about 20 percent. Vodafone Idea’s announcement comes a day after Bharti Airtel announced a hike in tariff.
Airtel also increased the price
Airtel on Monday announced a 20-25 per cent tariff hike for various prepaid plans, including tariff voice plans, unlimited voice bundles and data top-up, and said the new rates would be applicable from November 26. The entry-level tariff for voice plans has been hiked by around 25 per cent, while for unlimited voice bundles, it has been increased by about 20 per cent in most cases.
Meanwhile, let us tell you that according to the data released by telecom regulator TRAI on Monday, Bharti Airtel added 2.74 lakh mobile subscribers in September and Vodafone Idea lost 10.77 lakh subscribers during the month.
