Change address on Voter ID card like this
- Log on to the National Voters’ Service Portal www.nvsp.in.
- If you have moved to another constituency, click on Form 6 for registration of new voter.
- If you have moved from one place of residence to another in the same constituency, click on Form 8A.
- Fill all the required details including your name, date of birth, state, constituency, current and permanent address.
- After this enter your email, address and mobile number.
- Upload photographs, address proof and age proof documents.
- Submit the form online with all uploaded documents.
- Now fill the declaration option and enter the captcha number.
- After this you have to click on the submit option.
- After this you will have to go to ‘Correction of entries in electoral roll’.
- Now a new page will open in front of you.
- Here you will see Form-8.
- On this form you can make corrections in the Voter ID card.
- In Form-8, you will have to enter other information like electoral roll number, gender, details of parents or husband in the family.
- After this you will have to download any one document like Aadhar Card and License as your address proof.
- Now you will get a reference number, through this number you can track the status of your voter card.
- In this way you can change your address in your Voter ID card.
- As soon as your card is updated, a new Voter ID card will come to your home address.
