Want to link Aadhaar Card with your mobile number? This is step by step process

Aadhaar Card If the Aadhaar cardholder has not registered his mobile number at the time of enrollment or the cardholder wants to register his new mobile number with Aadhaar card, then the cardholder has to go to the permanent enrollment center.


New Delhi, Business Desk.  Aadhar card is required in many government and private works. At the same time, it has also become mandatory to link the Aadhaar card with many key documents. In this way the Aadhaar card has become the most important document of the person. To get online services of Aadhaar, the Aadhar card holder has to register his mobile number with UIDAI. At the time of enrollment for Aadhaar card, a person should get his mobile number registered with UIDAI.

If the Aadhaar cardholder has not registered his mobile number at the time of enrollment or the cardholder wants to register his new mobile number with Aadhaar card, then the cardholder has to go to the permanent enrollment center.

Let us know what is the process of registering a mobile number with Aadhaar card. The applicant does not need to submit any documents to update or register the mobile number in his Aadhaar.

Step 1. The cardholder must first visit the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) website https://www.uidai.gov.in/. Here the cardholder has to go to the ‘My Aadhaar’ tab and click on ‘Locate and Enrollment Center’. Now a page will open where the card holders can know the address of their nearest enrollment center by providing information related to it.

Step 2. Now the cardholder has to go to the enrollment center and fill the Aadhaar correction form.

Step 3. In this form, the cardholder has to enter his active mobile number, which is to be updated in Aadhaar.

Step 4. Now the cardholder will have to submit this form and make their biometrics available for authentication.


Step 5. Now the cardholder will get a slip. This slip will have an update request number (URN).

Step 6. Cardholders can use this URN to track the status of Aadhaar updation.
