Weather Forecast: Meteorological Department’s warning regarding heat in this state will blow your senses, check updates

A trough is extending from Gangetic West Bengal to northern coastal Andhra Pradesh via Odisha. A trough is extending from eastern Vidarbha to northern Tamil Nadu via Telangana and Rayalaseema. A cyclonic circulation has formed over North Interior Karnataka and its adjoining areas. Another cyclonic circulation is over south-west Bay of Bengal.

On March 17, rain activities are expected to reach some parts of Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand.

Weather disturbances across the country during the last 24 hours

According to Skymet Weather, during the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain occurred over Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh and the north coast of Assam. Light rain occurred in Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim and South Kerala. In some parts of Odisha, the minimum temperature was 5.1 or more above normal. The maximum temperatures in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim were 3.1 to 5 degrees above normal.
