IMD has said that within the next 2 to 3 days, there is a possibility of mercury rising by 2 to 5 degrees in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. It has also been said that there will be a strong heat wave for 30 to 35 days between March and May.
The condition of the mountains has also become similar. Due to dry weather in Uttarakhand, the temperature here has increased by up to four degrees. Not only the plains, but the heat has started increasing in the hilly areas as well. The Meteorological Department has said that the temperature will increase further in the next two to three days. However, areas like Pithoragarh, Chamoli and Uttarkashi may receive light rain on 27 and 28.
Hot winds to start
The temperature is increasing in Delhi too. Hot winds are going to start here too. On Tuesday (March 25, 2025), the minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to go up to 19.05 degrees Celsius and 37.2 degrees Celsius respectively. At the same time, the winds will blow at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour. IMD has predicted the maximum temperature in Delhi to be 38.74 degrees Celsius on Wednesday (March 26, 2025).
The effect of hot winds will be seen in the next three days

If IMD is to be believed, strong hot winds can blow in the state in the next two to three days. During this time, winds can blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour.
