Delhi has been raining continuously since five o’clock on Wednesday morning after the heat for the last one week. All schools in Gautam Budh Nagar district will remain closed today due to heavy rains. District School Inspector Gautam Budh Nagar has issued instructions to all the schools. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi for the next three days. Due to this, the temperature is likely to drop by up to two degrees Celsius. During this, the humid heat will also reduce. On Tuesday also the sun had come out in the morning itself. As the day progressed, the sun also got brighter. After ten in the morning, the movement of clouds started in some parts of Delhi. But in between the clouds kept getting separated and the sun also kept coming out. Due to this, people had to face the humid heat during the day.
Clouds begin to move
After five o’clock in the evening, the movement of clouds started again. Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, which is two notches above normal. The minimum temperature was 28.3 degree Celsius, which is one degree above normal. The humidity level in the air ranged between 83 and 60 per cent.
Moderate rain expected
The Meteorological Department estimates that there is a possibility of moderate rainfall in different areas of Delhi in the next three days. During this, the wind speed can remain from 16 to 22 kmph.
The air remained clear on Tuesday as well
Due to the weather, Delhi’s air has remained consistently clean. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s air index stood at 102 on Tuesday. This level of wind is classified as “moderate”. The Meteorological Department estimates that the level of air quality will remain around this for the next two days.
