According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of rain in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and hail in Punjab on April 16. Rainfall Update: Due to the effect of western disturbance, rain and hailstorm are being seen in many states of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain like this for the next few days. At the same time, today i.e. on 16th April, there are chances of rain in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and hailstorm in Punjab. Apart from this, there is a possibility of snowfall in Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Seasonal activities of the country
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, the western disturbance is located 3.1 to 12.6 kilometers above sea level over western Afghanistan and adjacent Iran. At the same time, an area of cyclonic winds has formed over the central parts of Rajasthan. A cyclonic circulation is forming at lower levels over western Uttar Pradesh.
Apart from this, due to the cyclonic circulation over western Uttar Pradesh, an east-west trough is extending from South Bihar and North Jharkhand to South West Bengal. One cyclonic circulation is over northern Bangladesh and the other cyclonic circulation is over central Maharashtra.
At the same time, an area of cyclonic winds has formed over the Comorin area. A trough extends from the above cyclonic circulation over Comorin area to North Interior Karnataka, passing through Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka.
Delhi’s climate
According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds may blow during the day in Delhi till April 18. IMD says that there may be light rain with thunder in Delhi on 19 and 20 April.
According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius this entire week. At the same time, the minimum temperature is likely to be between 21 to 23 degrees Celsius.
Weather condition of the country
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and snowfall with heavy snowfall at some places may occur over Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Whereas light to moderate rain and snowfall is possible in Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Isolated hailstorm may occur in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and North Punjab.
Apart from this, light to moderate rain is possible in North Punjab. Sporadic rain and strong winds may occur in parts of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, South Tamil Nadu and South Kerala. There may be light rain at isolated places in Assam and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
