Weather Update: Cold will increase again in Delhi-NCR, chances of rain on weekend; Know the situation till 4 February

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), due to the northern winds coming from the mountains, a drop in the morning and night temperatures has been recorded in the capital Delhi. The minimum temperature on Tuesday at Delhi’s standard observatory Safdarjung was 2.8 degrees below normal. Due to the lack of bright sunshine in the morning and active western disturbance, this time the people of Delhi are facing hotter weather than normal in the month of January. The temperature in Delhi is constantly above normal.

Fog will prevail for the next four days

On Tuesday morning, Delhi recorded a drop in temperature compared to the last few days and cold winds also blew. A light layer of fog prevailed in some parts of the capital. The department has predicted rain in Delhi on February 1. The Meteorological Department has also predicted fog for four days starting from January 28. During this period, the minimum temperature is expected to be between 8-11 degrees Celsius. On last Thursday, the minimum temperature in the capital was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius, after which the temperature has dropped.

The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate fog in Delhi in the next three to four days and a slight drop in temperature. On January 29, the western disturbance will be active in the upper part of the Himalayas, due to which there will be snowfall in the hilly areas. This will also affect Delhi. Light rain may occur in the capital and its surrounding areas in early February. At the same time, cold winds will blow, which will cause a drop in temperature. The minimum temperature is likely to fall to 8 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 24 degrees Celsius.

How will the weather be today

IMD has issued a warning about moderate fog in Delhi on Wednesday. The minimum temperature in the capital is expected to be 10 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius. According to the department’s forecast for the entire week, there may be light fog in the morning on Wednesday. The sun will shine during the day. There will be movement of clouds in the sky on Thursday. The weather will remain clear on Friday. The weather will change from Saturday and there may be light rain in Delhi-NCR. There are chances of drizzle on Monday as well. The sky will remain cloudy on Tuesday.
