A new western disturbance will be active on April 17-18, due to which there is a possibility of rain in 6 districts on Thursday. The effect of this system will last till April 20.
Alert in 6 districts on Thursday
According to Rajasthan Meteorological Department, due to the effect of western disturbance, there will be rain in Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions on April 18 and light rain in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner and Jodhpur on April 19. On April 19, yellow alert has been issued in 12 districts Alwar, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Barmer, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Nagaur and Ganganagar. After this, there will be a change in the weather again and as the temperature increases, the heat will increase. India Meteorological Department has predicted more than normal rainfall across India this year.

- According to the Rajasthan Meteorological Department, on Thursday, April 18, a yellow alert of rain and storm has been issued in 6 districts of the state, Barmer, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur Ganganagar.
- On Friday, April 19, a yellow alert has been issued due to rain in 14 districts Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Barmer, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Nagaur and Ganganagar.
- Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of heavy rain with clouds, lightning and strong thunderstorm in different areas of Eastern Rajasthan on 19th and 21st April and in most parts of Western Rajasthan on 18th, 19th, 21st April. During this period, winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
