Meerut Weather Update: The average maximum temperature in March has been the lowest in four years. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature will remain under control till April 6. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.6 and the minimum temperature was 16.3 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists have predicted that the mercury will remain under control till April 6.
Weather Update: Frequent fluctuations in temperature are being seen in the district. A significant drop in the maximum temperature is being recorded since last two days. The maximum temperature recorded on Tuesday was 31.6 degrees Celsius, which was two degrees less than normal.
Dr. UP Shahi, in-charge of the weather center of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University, said that two western disturbances are becoming active one after the other on April 3 and 5. Due to which it may rain at some places in NCR including Delhi. The temperature will remain around 30 degrees till April 6. Four to five light rains are also possible in Meerut.
March was the least warm this time in four years
The average maximum temperature for March 2024 was recorded at 28.9 degrees Celsius and the average minimum temperature was recorded at 14.1 degrees Celsius. From March 1 to 17, the maximum temperature was more than 30 degrees only twice. Whereas the normal temperature of March is 29 degrees Celsius. The average maximum temperature in March 2023 was recorded at 29.7, in March 2022 it was 32.2 and in 2021 it was 31.9 degrees Celsius.
