After this, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) had predicted severe cold in the plains of India. Now the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a sweat-inducing update about the winter. According to the IMD, the heat in the month of October has broken the record of 123 years. This information was given by the Weather Center on Friday. The Weather Department has not given any indication about the upcoming winter and has predicted that the weather will remain hot in November as well. IMD Director Mrityunjay Mahapatra said that the absence of Western Disturbances and the easterly winds blowing due to the active low pressure system in the Bay of Bengal are responsible for the hot weather.

He said that the temperature in the north-western plains will remain 2-5 degrees above normal for at least the next two weeks, after which it will gradually fall.
Where will there be more than normal rainfall
