There is a possibility of torrential rains for the next 5 days in Arunachal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and a light rain warning has been issued for the next 5 days in the Ghat area of central Maharashtra. Warning of heavy rain has also been issued in many areas. Rain activity is going to increase in many states of South India while heavy rains have also been predicted in Maharashtra and Goa.
